Colour Therapy – 5 of the most popular and why.

What is colour therapy I hear you say?! What do flower colours mean. It’s not just the exquisite beauty of flowers that makes us smile and lifts our mood immediately, it’s the colour of these blooms that also evoke our emotional response.

Here’s a list of our top 5 favourites and what they can convey for you.

RED   The colour of passion and desire, so it’s no wonder you see so many red roses on Valentine’s Day!!

YELLOW   The colour of sunshine and happiness, yellow is traditionally used as a sign of friendship…and where would we be without our friends?!  Our most popular bestie bouquet – the Sunflower Bouquet of course!

BLUE/PURPLE/INDIGO   Like the ocean, these shades have such a calming influence.  Possibly the perfect shade for someone who needs to slow down in their daily lives.  Not only does blue calm worries, it also signals support, making it appropriate for a grieving or sick friend.

PINK  This one’s for all the girly girls out there.  A delicate colour used to indicate playfulness, charm, sweetness and femininity.  Definitely an all rounder, from birthdays to anniversaries and everything in between.

GREEN  Of course this one made our list.  The universal colour for life, nature, energy, growth and harmony.  With so many textures and hues in green flowers, there is something so soothing and comforting about Mother Nature’s gorgeous gifts.

So when you’re unsure of what to choose, tell us a little of your intentions and together we will create a magnificent bouquet that says all that you want in beauty and colour!
